52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks: #9 - Click to Add

This is #9 in a Genealogy Blog Challenge issued by Amy Johnson Crow over on her blog "No Story Too Small." The challenge is to write 52 blog posts on 52 ancestors throughout 2014.

This post is a week late due to the fact that I was down and sick with the flu and sinus infection.  It is not dedicated to any particular person.  More towards that desire to "fill in all the blanks."

You sit there

at the end of all my branches,

taunting me,

teasing me 

with my ignorance.

How many years now?

You're a good researcher,

you should know,

you should be able to click

and get rid of me.

That's the thing though,

No matter how much I click,

my triumph is short lived,

you aren't gone,

simply moved back a generation.

Taunting me yet again.
