The scientifico's are predicting that sometime next week, the 17 year periodical cicadas will emerge and wreak noisy havoc on our area. For those of you who aren't from East of the Mississippi, we have these lovely bugs that emerge once every 17 years to make noise, mate and die. They are predicting 100,000 per acre of land in our area.

...and my garden is full of Cicada holes....we're predicting a bumper crop!
