Well, it's official, I got a phone call tonight from the classroom teacher. She's going in tomorrow to be induced. So I will be teaching for the next few months.
I'm excited to be teaching again, and a little nervous.
We still only have one car. It'll mean long days at work for Mike, and long drives for me.
I have to be at the school at 8:30 a.m. Mike usually doesn't have to be at work until 9. BUT, In order for me to make it to work on time I'll have to drop Mike off at work before 7:30. That means that we'll leave the house at 7 a.m. School will get out for me at 3:30 p.m. I'll drive straight to Mike's office and be there between 4:30 and 5. Then we'll get home at between 5:30 and 6 p.m.
It doesn't seem like a long day for Mike (9 hours), nor is a 1 hour one way commute REALLY long, but we'd rather not have to do it that way forever.
If any of you have a working functional reliable car that you'd like to donate to the cause, we'd be happy to take it!
