Since we've been having issues with our internet, I've not been able to post the past couple of updates. So we're going to get three at once. :)

p.s. He's so scruffy looking! But that's what you get when you're in and out of the field, in and out of a lake, and not getting bathed every other week. I expect we'll see him get scruffier looking for a while still. Not to worry, we'll be getting him groomed before we bring him home. :)

Joanne & Mike,
Dale is "cooling off" in the lake after a morning's workout with birds. Temps have been in low 90's so I have turned on all the fans in the kennel. Training is progressing on schedule.
Dale is resting on the chain gang along with other dogs and he is watching other dogs in the field. We are very pleased with his progress so far....he has a wonderful nose and a strong hunting desire.

And an update from today. :)
Enclosing photos of Dale pointing....he is becoming more staunch on point and is beginning to let me flush the bird "some of the time"
