You're still here?

It's hard to blog when you think your life isn't that interesting. How do you keep sharing information without getting boring or repeating yourself over and over?

That's been my quandry for a long time. I just haven't felt like our lives have been all that interesting. And with Facebook and other programs, it's made blogging seem almost redundant. But it's not, and what has shown me that it's not is a little program hidden away on the bottom of this blog.

Scroll down. I'll wait...

Did you see it? No? That little counter number. Every week, it sends me a list of how many people visited my little blog here. And there's still consistent visits on a weekly basis. That has surprised me. I didn't think we were all that interesting.

All I can say is Thank you.

Thanks for your interest in our lives.

Since September, we've been caught up in our day-to-day lives. Going to work, serving in the church, and puttering around our house.

Mike is still working on his Bachelor's degree. He'll be done in December! (Yay!) And I just got accepted at Olivet Nazarene University. I'll be working on a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership.

He's still a Stake High Counsellor, and I've just been called as Stake Institute Supervisor. We're still both serving in the Chicago Temple. I'm still teaching 4th Sunday Relief Society.

Dale is still Dale.

We re-did our bathroom a little. Not the tub area, we didn't have the money to pull out the tub and replace the walls like it needs...But we did spruce up the rest. We pulled down the gawd-awful purple and pink pastel flocked wallpaper, fixed up the walls, re-wired the electrical, painted, added wainscoting and freshened up the look. I don't have a before picture...I forgot to take one, but here's an after!

Isn't it lovely? I'm quite fond of it myself. And we were able to do it under $2000.

Another thing I did recently was start painting a little. I painted that trio above. The yellow is our dining room wall. I still don't have an idea for my next artwork, but I'll post it when I come up with it.

That's about it for now...I'll definitely try to spend more time blogging...With my Master's classes being online, I'll be at my computer more often.

Friend me on Facebook...or call...or email...or comment below.

Thanks for still reading!
