We had our first tornado warning here in our new house. Right after Mike got home from work, we headed down into the basement with our portable radio when the TV went into it's "WARNING" screen. As we listened to the radio, I had a hard time sitting still. When we paid particular attention to the towns listed on the radio as having tornado warnings; the closest town to us under that tornado warning was to the North and East of us... and we really didn't need to get in the basement anyway.
Better safe than sorry.
10 minutes in the basement is nothing.

Maybe it scared a lot of your ants away too!
