Mike was up on the roof on Saturday doing work on the Chimney area. First he worked on the flashing around the chimney and the roof. According to him, there was nothing covering the metal any more. So he applied a really thick layer of tar / Plastic Cement to it. In the pictures you can see the flashing peeling up from the roof.
Then he worked on re-mortaring some areas of the Chimney where the old antenna straps had caused water to erode it. He made several trips up and down that ladder carrying heavy buckets of stuff. But, it should last for a couple of years until we can get a professional to do it.
