Dale's little camel

For his first birthday, a couple of weeks ago on April 7th, Dale got a new toy. It's a Camel made up of knotted rope. He absolutely loves it. He sleeps with it, he carries it around with him. It's his "buddy"



On the first day, I got this lovely picture of him holding his camel. You can see that the 'nose' of the camel is slightly damp from him carrying it around.

He loves to play with it, holding it above his nose while laying on his back...

Sleeping with the camel...

Within days... the Camel was beginning to show signs of wear...

That is the head and neck of the camel unknotted, unraveled and tossed up around Dale's nose. The tail of the camel is long gone...and now, the poor thing is unrecognizeable as a camel. But it's still his favorite toy!
