After over a year of being a 'teacher with no classroom,' I can finally heave a sigh of relief and declare... "I have a contract! I have a job! I am a Teacher yet again!"
I signed the contract this morning, then spent 3 hours filling out almost as much paperwork as I had when we got our mortgage! Then I trotted off to the police department to get my fingerprints done. (Standard practice for background checks for teachers.)
I will be an ESL teacher for a Middle School just a 10 to 15 minute drive from my home! I'm very excited and I'm looking forward to getting my own classroom.
All those prayers and well wishes finally worked!
Thank you guys and gals for putting up with me the past year as I've been dysfunctionally unemployed and more. :)
