Vacation

Mike's dad remarried a couple of weekends ago. We had the wonderful opportunity to go to Utah for the wedding.  We got to see a lot of family that we hadn't seen in many years, including Mike's siblings, our neices and nephews, his aunts, uncles, and cousins.  We flew in on Thursday and visited with Mike's dad, Uncle Dale and Aunt Ellen. 

Friday we went to the "This is the Place" Heritage Park with Mike's brother Ben's family.  We got to spend most of the day with the cutie-patootie kids Ayla, Liam and Aeroc! 

That evening, we had a large BBQ at Mike's sister Johanna's house where we got to meet all of our new Step-siblings and step-neices and step-nephews!  She had a pool for the kids to swim in and a trampoline!  The food was fantastic and we had a great time.  I think there was over 50 people there...and now, all related!

Saturday was the wedding. It was a beautiful simple affair with everyone in their best clothes.  The food at the reception was delicious and the flowers were gorgeous!

On Sunday, we all (Mike's siblings and families) met back up at Johanna's house for a waffle breakfast, and then people started to head off back to their homes.  It was an amazing trip and we had a blast getting to see everyone!
