Vacation part 2

After going to Utah for Mike's Dad's wedding, I was able to go to LA to visit with my brother and his wife. :)  It was loads of fun. They are truly excellent hosts. Pictures are worth 1000 words, so here goes:

First stop: Santa Monica Pier, where loads of people were basking in the sun and where I was pooped on by a seagull!



 Next stop! Warner Brother's Studio tour! Got to see the Batmobile, the set of Big Bang Theory, the Central Perk from "Friends" and other really neat things!

We also took a drive up to Santa Barbara where we saw the Mission.  It was gorgeous! There were even real monks walking around.

We drove up to Solvang, CA which looks right out of a Hans Christian Anderson tale, but I forgot to take pictures. Here are some from our drive through the Santa Ynez valley.
