Cupcakes!

I've been in a baking mood.  It's something that I do in order to relax.  With teaching, working on a Master's Degree, my Etsy shop, and life in general being what it is, relaxing is necessary.  I've just finished my first month of summer vacation, and my jaw has only just now stopped clenching.  Still working on my shoulders and other stress symptoms.

AAAnyway.  I've always loved baking.  C'mon, look at me!  I didn't get this size because I like salads.  I've started to experiment with different flavors of frostings and cupcakes.  When messing with frostings, I keep to plain vanilla or plain chocolate cupcakes so that way, the frosting flavor is easily compared.  When experimenting with cupcake flavors, I stick with vanilla icing.

Sometimes, I even take pictures of my experiments.

This one is Nutella buttercream frosting.  Nutella, for those of you who don't know, is a chocolate-hazelnut spread.

This one is a Lime buttercream.  Very summery!

I've also made Lemon buttercream, Peanut-Butter Buttercream, Double-chocolate buttercream, and a chocolate-mint buttercream.  But no pictures of those. 

I'll need to actually take more pictures the next time I bake something.
