He found a place online that sells sheets of laminate. He's planning on buying contact cement, laying the pieces on the countertop, rolling them on (hopefully without air bubbles), and then routering the edges. Instead of laminating the ends of the countertop, he's going to install hardwood trim.
Anyway, the laminate arrived yesterday and is currently standing up in my dining room.
The color is kind of a light grey. We'll see how it looks once it's installed.
