The day before our first party at the house, Mike started laminating the countertops. He got the main countertop done that day (Last Friday). It was a fume-y, stinky, sticky job. But he did it, and it looks pretty good. Here are some pictures. You'll notice that there are still exposed
edges, that's because we're planning on putting a hard-wood trim around the edge.
On Saturday, the day of the party, he wanted to take my sink out of the temporary counter, then laminate it and re-install.
I said "No."
He asked why?
"Because you are not taking my sink away from me right before a party!"
He didn't then, but as soon as he could afterwards (Yesterday evening in fact) he took out the sink to laminate the counter...and I don't have a sink still...
