Painting


While Mike has been busy doing all the destruction, I've been busy painting the bedrooms since they are farthest away from the dust. Here's a picture of the "master" bedroom (a.k.a. the front bedroom) before.

Mike and I had a VERY long discussion in the paint section of the Home Depot about the colors we wanted to use. (What a way to spend your Anniversary!) At the time, I thought that the colors were too strong!

The wall color is "Mountain Haze" (400E-3) and the trim is "Winter Hedge" (440F-5), both from Behr paints. The Ceiling is Off White. It looks much much better in person. Surprisingly better.

The wall color by itself was a sickening green, but once I put the trim on, it looks really cool and relaxing. Mike's color sense isn't all wrong! :) The blue in the picture on the left is the masking tape we used while painting the ceililng. At this point, I'm painting the trim around the windows and am about to start the baseboard and around the doors.
