Patchy Paintwork

So, I painted the kitchen recently, but it looks very patch-work like. The reason is that I see no reason to paint where the walls will be covered by the cabinets! The color is a light lemony-yellow. I'm not certain if I like it, or if it will still look good once it is near the cream yellow that the dining room will be (same as living room color).
